Postdoc at University of Amsterdam
Expertise: aerosols, ventilation, indoor air quality
Background:
Antoine Gaillard is a postdoctoral researcher working at the University of Amsterdam (UvA) in the Soft Matter group with Daniel Bonn. He studied at the Ecole Normale Superieure in Paris and obtained his PhD in 2018. Prior to the MIST project, he has been working mainly on Newtonian and non-Newtonian fluid mechanics problems including spraying and pinch-off with, e.g., polymer solutions. In the context of MIST, he has expertise in generating aerosols and in measuring the CO2 and particle removal efficiency of ventilation systems and air cleaning devices in indoor environments such as office buildings and classrooms.
