Background:
Kirsten Lassing holds a BSc in laboratory research and an MSc in biomedical sciences from Radboud University, specializing in toxicology and risk assessment. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she worked as a technician, focusing on detecting infectious diseases in patient samples. Currently, Kirsten is a PhD candidate in the Medical Microbiology department at Radboudumc. Additionally, she holds an external position at Radboud University, contributing to the Environmental Science cluster of the Radboud Institute for Biological and Environmental Sciences (RIBES).
