Background:
Huisman got his PhD in Twente in 2014 on experimental work in turbulence. He then became postdoc at ENS Lyon before returning to Twente as Assistant Professor in 2016. He has built various highly controlled fluid dynamics facilities for experiments in multiphase flow under precisely controlled conditions.
